Partnered with BB&T Bank, Microsoft, Blake High School Avid, and Tampa Bay Career Source to provide a 2 day career preparation workshop for 2020 high school graduates. The workshops consisted of Mindfulness, Communication Do’s and Don’ts, Interview Prep, LinkedIn Resumes, and professional headshots. Students were able to schedule interviews with participating partners and businesses, as well as register with Tampa Bay Career Source for one on one counseling about resources and programs available to them after attending all sessions.

Partnered with Blake Avid to host a 9 week series of workshops (A Better Me Workshop Series) to helps students cope and improve themselves.
Topics covered included:
i. Self-love, respect, and confidence
ii. Maintaining Peace and calmness
iii. Identity and self-empowerment
iv. Personal image
v. Life-skills
vi. Community Love
vii. Mental health/wellness/Anxiety
viii. Healthy eating
ix. Financial Literacy
